IJMB PROGRAM PROSPECTUS
The IJMB program is an Advance Level program intended for candidates aspiring to again admission into any Nigerian University through Direct Entry (D.E). The program last for Eighteen (18) months divided into two sessions of two semesters each. During this period, students are exposed to intensive lectures from Mondays to Thursdays every week and a weekly C.A. test on Fridays. The school's highly equipped laboratories avail the students the opportunity of undertaking all the practical required for IJMB program.
ENTRY REQUIREMENT INTO IJMB PROGRAM
Candidates aspiring to be admitted into the IJMB program:
1. Must have sat and passed the pre-admission test examined by the School.
2. Must obtain a minimum of five (5) O/L credits from Ordinary Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Geography and Physics.
3. Must have successful passed through the BIO DATA and Academic screening processes.
CATCHMENT AREA
The program is specifically designed for interested candidates from the 19 Northern States including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS INTO ABU ZARIA
Students must have:
1. Obtained a minimum of 6 points in their final exams (this is subject to change when necessary by NUC).
2. Purchased Direct Entry (DE) form and have chosen ABU Zaria as their first choice.
3. Must have remedied all deficiencies (if any)
All IJMB students, as a privilege, are automatically given admission into ABU Zaria provided they satisfy the listed conditions.
The following are the University which accepts A' Level Certificate results for direct entry (200L) admission.

The A' level program is organized to take you to 200 level (direct entry) into any university of your choice, its usually a two (2) years program in some universities that have the school of IJMB where the school enrolls students for the program. The University of Ilorin does not enroll students for the A' level program but there are few accredited centers in Ilorin, Kwara State. The IJMB program runs for nine(9) months in order to enable its candidates secure admission into 200 level with it the following year. This program, is available for Faculties of Engineering, Science, Management science, Arts, etc.
After completing this program, you'll have to buy a direct entry form from JAMB and apply for any school of your choice. You won't have to write JAMB or POST UTME AGAIN!!! and you can apply for as many schools as you want, provided you can buy the Direct entry forms you need.
Interested candidate are expected to select any of the three 3 A/L subjects from
1. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Geography (Science Students)
2. Economics, Business and Management, Accounts, Government, Sciology, CRS/IRS, Literature (Arts/Social sciences/ Humanities students).
The result is rated in points, there is a total of 15 points in the three (3) A-Level subjects combination with a bonus of one (1) point if no fail (F) is obtained in the final result making it a total of sixteen(16) points.
Candidates with deficiency in O’level English Language and Mathematics can also remedy these subjects by registering for the O’level
SCORES GRADES POINTS
70-100% - A - 5 Points
60-69% - B - 4 Points
50-59% - C - 3 Points
45-49% - D - 2 Points
40-44% - E - 1 Points
39%-Below - F - 0 Point
